A Federal contractor with a 100-year history of supporting military families and veterans has a unique value proposition and has built a reputation for delivering a range of services to the military. In 2015, the contractor reached out for assistance in supporting a number of significant new awards, primarily focused on providing social services to military families living on base with the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. This was not a profile Talent Orchard was familiar with however by utilizing our structured methodology and the recruiting experience, we constructed a team, worked with the client to define the value proposition, and rolled out a national recruiting strategy.
The contractor has been able to make more than 160 hires as a direct result of candidates generated and screened by Talent Orchard. Despite being unfamiliar with the core skill sets prior to initiation, we were able to quickly get up to speed and even assist the client with the market intelligence that reshaped some of the candidate offerings. The contractor expects to continue the partnership through 2017 and broaden the scope to include Federal teaming and contract staffing. As a result, in part, of our collective success, the contractor was regarded as an attractive acquisition target in 2016, which lead to their company being acquired by a large healthcare corporation.
